Raz Design has been in the process of implementing a new ERP system as well as a configurator. These significant upgrades represent our commitment to enhancing efficiency, improving service quality and, ultimately, better serving your needs. A team has been working diligently behind the scenes for several months, implementing these new systems and we are ready to “go live” effective June 03, 2024.
Our last production day using our existing system will be Thursday May 30 and then we will be conducting a physical inventory on Friday May 31 to populate inventory values into our new ERP system. Should an emergency request be required, rest assured we have team members ready to process your request.
Our new Business System consists of two key components:
- Product Configurator
- ERP System (Order Entry, Order Tracking, Inventory Control and Finance)
New to Raz is our Configurator. A Configurator is a software application that guides a user through a series of questions and, based on how they are answered, creates a Bill of Materials (BOM) in the background, determining how a chair is to be built, including most options. The configurator is an assist to ensure that all things are being considered for a particular client application and that the specified components will work in harmony. Initially the Configurator will be used internally by RAZ Customer Service but, over time, access could be offered to select customers and clinicians.
Our new ERP and Configurator will provide us with greater detail to manage and track customer orders.
While this transition is an exciting step forward for us, we want to be transparent about potential impacts on our services during the implementation phase. Here’s what you need to know:
- Improved Efficiency: Once fully implemented, our new computer system will streamline our internal processes, enabling us to serve you more effectively and efficiently. From order processing to customer support, you can expect smoother, faster interactions across the board.
- Temporary Adjustments: During the transition period, there may be minor disruptions to our usual operations. We want to assure you that our team is working tirelessly to minimize any inconvenience and to ensure a seamless transition.
- Enhanced Communication: Throughout this process, we’ll keep you informed every step of the way. Should there be any changes or updates that may affect you, we’ll communicate them promptly and transparently.
- Continuous Support: Our commitment to providing exceptional service remains unwavering. Our dedicated team will be on hand to address any questions or concerns you may have during this transition period.
- Long-Term Benefits: While there may be short-term adjustments, we’re confident that the long-term benefits of our new computer system will far outweigh any temporary challenges. Together, we’ll emerge stronger and better equipped to meet your evolving needs.
